Shower Curtains: Don't Be Boring

A lot of people opt for white, clear or cream shower curtains thinking that they will go with everything and not be offensive so they outsell every other shower curtain every time. But you know there are no points for buying something that is inoffensive. If you want to create a stylish bathroom you have to be a bit more daring!.

If you have a plain white bathroom (and most of us do these days) you can really go to town with your shower curtains to make your bathroom striking and individual. And I think this shower curtain fits that to a tee.

Choosing something with color and impact immediately gives you pointers for the rest of your room decor. See decorate with shower curtains for more on this. But in with this shower curtain think white, gray and red towels, silver shiny chrome accessories or bathroom set, silver mirror on the wall.

Wonderful!

Of course this is just an example of how a shower curtain can make a striking bathroom but if you want this actual curtain you can buy it here.

Crocs Like You Never Saw Before

I came across these new crocs today. I love the Malindi style as they are great for wearing with skirts in summer. The usual clogs are just too clumpy for me except with jeans.

I have a black pair which I have worn and worn since I got them in Macys NYC last year. They are so comfortable, I was thinking of getting another color or two for this summer when I came across these. They are such fun! They would look fantastic with plain white jeans and tshirt or white jeans skirt or capris and maybe a plaited leather belt. Plain and simple outfit - nothing to take away from these wonderful comfortable and practical yet crazy shoes.

If you're tempted you can get every color of Malindi crocs on this page:-

Born to Shop?

Even though I would say I positively hate shopping, I love buying things.

I just hate
  • the search for the one dress that it going to make you look like a sylph like model when you feel like the back of a bus
  • the crowds
  • the sore feet
  • going home empty handed
  • going home with empty wallet
  • having to carry heavy bags around
I think shopping online was made for me. In fact until I am Victoria Beckham and get stores to open for me out of hours I think it will do nicely. It's not quite the same as seeing the article "in the flesh" of course but you can get a good idea and actually think about whether you really want the item and where on earth you will put yet another purchase without the store assistant breathing down your neck.

And you can always send the stuff back if it's not right.
